He started playing piano when he was three. He got a GED when he was 16 and went to Julliard. He lasted about a year there, and then came back home to Boulder. It just wasn't where he wanted to be, and he wasn't doing what he wanted to be doing. The clash between him and then was just more than he was interested in handling. He works as a session musician and with an orchestra, and he works his ass off. When he's at the club and scening, he plays with all the intensity, focus and dedication that he applies to his professional life. When he's up, he's up. When he's down, he's done. When he's working, he's working. When he's playing, he's playing. Whatever it is he's doing, he's doing it with everything he's got. Alex looks like a punk-rock brat, and gives every appearance of being shallow, superficial and not knowing what the hell he's doing. His appearence is deceiving. Alex is a musician, but he's not a 'rocker'. He's a concert pianist, and he definitely knows what he's doing. He wasn't introduced to the club - he went to a munch when he was 18. It took a while for people to catch on and realize that he wasn't, actually, what he seemed to be and for him to be invited into the club, but they got there and he got invited. He took the invitation and has been a member for four years. Call him fusion - it works. He's got a lot of old guard ideals and mannerisms, combined with being almost aggressively young and modern. He's involved with Len, and has been for six months. Appearance In Brief: Alex is a bit shy of 6 feet tall, with blue eyes and blonde hair he keeps longish, and usually shaggy.
